What is Makerspace?

Makers are creative, DIY (do it yourself) spaces where people can gather to create, invent and learn. 

A MAKERSPACE is:

• a physical location where people gather to share resources and knowledge, work on projects, collaborate and build.
• a safe place for experimentation. All inventors are welcome!
• a zone of self-directed learning.
• a space that allows students to take control of their own learning.
• cross disciplinary
• a space for hands-on learning
